Billy Heath was full of praise for both Kosylo and Johnson as the pair were pivotal in securing the three points in the solid 3-2 victory at home to Maidenhead this weekend however he is slightly disappointed in the manner in which the team conceded two late goals.

Town were comfortably leading 3-0 up until the 79th minute when a slight lapse in concentration in the last 10 minutes meant for a nervy end to the game and while Heath feels it wasnโ€™t entirely in the teamโ€™s character, he was delighted with the teamโ€™s performance.

โ€œObviously the two goals at the end are disappointing because really we should have just seen the game out and we’ve been particularly good at doing that this season, really closing games down well.โ€

โ€œWe made a couple of bad choices but the main thing is getting another win in the column.โ€

โ€œWe’d have took 3-2 at the begininning of the game, we’d have took any win at the beginning of the game. Mixed emotions at the minute but really well done again to the players another good win.โ€

The Shaymen ran with Morgan and Denton up top and the attacking display from the forward players was superb which was highlighted in the slick move which led to the first goal.

โ€œI think going forward today we were really, really good. We had a couple of opportunities before we scored the goal and it was a great move for the first goal.โ€

Another player who showed great attacking intent was Matty Kosylo, back from his suspension and he came back with a bang, burying two goals on his return and his performance was well appreciated by his manager.

โ€œHe asks questions doesn’t he when he does get the ball, he dribbles it. He actually does dribble the football and goes past people and everybody wants to see that when he is in full force.โ€

โ€œHe’s scoring goals and that’s the important thing because we’ve said all this season it’s not just about relying on the forwards we’ve got to weigh in with the wide players this season and he’s certainly doing that.โ€

โ€œHe makes things happen and he excites people.โ€

Heath believes that spreading the goals out this season is especially important especially moving forward if the team wants to keep winning games and keep up the good form that theyโ€™ve currently hit in the two tough games coming up.

โ€œWhoever gets the goals, we’ve just got to keep winning football matches and that’s what we’ve done againโ€

โ€œAll we’ve got to do is keep concentrating on trying to win as many games as we can. We’ve got two difficult games coming up, two very long, long trips away from home against two very, very good sides so we’ll approach them again, be positive, go there, good form.โ€

โ€œThe lads have got a spring in their step and hopefully we can keep the points ticking over.โ€

Cliff Moyo made his return to the squad this weekend, starting on the bench and although he didnโ€™t feature, Heath says his return is pretty much inevitable.

โ€œHe did the warm up today, he was on the bench, he comes into contention like everybody does on Tuesday but we just felt he may have needed another session today, what he’s done today before the game and after the game so he’s definitely fit now.โ€

The manager will now be looking ahead to the two upcoming away games at Leyton Orient and Dagenham and hoping the team can kick on and continue their unbeaten run.
