Away Shay Travel wish to sincerely apologise to all affected supporters for the unfortunate non-arrival of the coach arranged for last Saturday’s match at Chester.
It has to be immediately stressed that the problem here was not in any way attributable to FC Halifax Town or Away Shay Travel.
It is fair to say that a reasonable number of planned coach travellers were still able to get to the game via alternative method of transport and thanks here to two or three coach travellers who were able to offer seats in their cars to other fans. It is however recognised that some supporters had no alternative but to simply go back home and we can only once again offer our profuse apologies.
