As a West Yorkshire company, PPS is very much rooted in the local community, and this year the company is showing its support for local sports with a new sponsorship deal with FC Halifax Town.

PPS will be proudly displaying its logo on the back of the players’ shirts as they start the new 2017-2018 season.

FC Halifax Town, which rose from the ashes of Halifax Town AFC in 2008, made its debut in the Northern Premier League Division One North.

Since then, the semi-professional club, whose home ground is The MBi Shay stadium, has gone from strength to strength. The 2016-2017 season was a stand-out one for the club, as the team beat Chorley FC in the play-offs to win promotion to the Vanarama National League.

With the support of its fans and local businesses such as PPS, we hope to see the club go on to achieve even more success in seasons to come.

A thriving business, with a sister company, Simm Engineering based in Sheffield, PPS has not been short of its own success this year. In June, the company beat off stiff competition to win second place at the annual Eaton Smith Business Awards. Later this year the business will be moving into a fully renovated and adapted site to accommodate its growing team and facilitate even better support for its many customers.

Founder and Managing Director, Gary Whitaker, said: “As a local company, we are proud to support FC Halifax Town with this new sponsorship deal. The club has worked hard to turn its fortunes around, showing resilience and tenacity – qualities we recognise and celebrate at PPS – and we wish the team all the best for the coming season.”

Director Ian Harrison said: “With our recent Eaton Smith award and the upcoming move, these are exciting times for PPS. We are looking forward to continuing our upward trajectory – and seeing FC Halifax Town build on their recent success.”
